Q. How do I submit an abstract for the chance to present at ENDS 2017?

A: Abstract submissions for the 2017 conference have now closed. To be kept up to date with programme and speaker announcements, or to be notified when abstract submissions open for future conferences - join the mailing list here.

Q: What if I can’t attend the conference but want to see the presentations?

A: You can purchase the proceedings post-event by contacting Sharon Garrington at or on +44 (0) 1939 252421.

Q: What is included with my ticket?

A: Your ticket will give you access to all presentations and networking sessions across the 2-day conference, lunch and refreshments (where indicated on the programme) and a free place at the evening networking social. You will also receive access to the conference app 2 weeks before the start of the conference. Post-event you will receive a link to download all available presentations.

Q: Is my accommodation and travel included in the ticket?

A: No. All speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and delegates are required to organise their own travel and accommodation. Please visit the venue page for more information about how to book your accommodation at the special delegate rate.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Business-casual is the most appropriate attire.

Q: I need a visa, how do I obtain one for this event?

A: Please contact Event Manager Sharon Garrington at or on + (0) 1939 252421  who can provide you with a visa letter to attend the conference. Please note, you must have booked and paid for your ticket before we will be able to provide you with a visa letter. You must also ensure that you leave enough time to receive the letter and apply and receive your visa before the conference. Smithers Rapra cannot provide any further assistance with the visa application process.
